HEAVY-DUTY
CORDS: The tougher, thicker DRŪ cords last much longer than
the lightweight ones used on hand-held trimmers. This Extra
Heavy-Duty DRŪ cord can trim right up to stone walls,
sidewalks, etc., with much less risk of breaking. Hand-held
trimmers don't have the power to spin cord this large. All DRŪ
models are supplied with 12 Heavy-Duty (130 mil) and 12 Extra
Heavy-Duty (155 mil) cutting cords (at least a season's supply
for most folks) and have a cutting width of 21 to 24 inches.
HORIZONTAL
DEBRIS GUARD reduces airborne debris and provides a low
profile for trimming under fences, bushes, etc.

long-life, stretch-resistant belt.

TRIMMING HEIGHT from 1-1/2" to about 4" is simple
and convenient; takes only seconds to match to your lawn mower's
cutting height.
BIG
16-INCH WHEELS with semi-pneumatic tires roll smooth and
easy on ball bearings. (SPRINTŪ wheels are 14".)
FULLY
PROTECTED DRIVE TRAIN -- The DR's drive system is fully
enclosed underneath by a high-density polyethylene bottom
shield. This protects the undercarriage of your DRŪ from
sticks, cut vegetation, and debris. Field tests indicate that
this extra investment extends the life of the DR's drive belt
more than threefold!
