Imitators of the
DRŪ TRIMMER/MOWER have cut corners by not including a brake on their
drive systems. The cords on some start turning dangerously as soon
as the engine starts! Others inconveniently kill the engine when you
let go of their controls. In contrast, every DRŪ model includes a
brake. This means that the trimmer head begins turning when you
engage the controls at the handlebars. Then, when you release the
controls, the cords quickly stop turning... while the engine
continues to run! A little more costly, but we feel it's well worth
the extra margin of safety and convenience. |
